Error "The submitted grade was invalid"

Sometimes, not very often, just seems like every couple of weeks I get

The submitted course was invalid. Try submitting again.

when trying to respond to a topic (or showtime a new i). I tried a different browser, aforementioned result. It starts working again after a couple of hours or so.

I noticed that when it happens, the URL contains the session ID, which it unremarkably does not.

Does it happen to someone else too?

Hello,

Not exactly that, but similar intermittent issues e.yard. trying to log out -> 'Yous were not logged out, equally the request did non match your session'.

Equally happens for you, expect long enough and everything is dorsum to normal.

I don't sympathise what goes incorrect, and (two months ago) I couldn't observe annihilation similar in the phpBB forum.

Regards,

David

I am sorry I forgot to write that the error displays in cherry above the edit for the post body. Never experienced the upshot east with logging out.

In that location is a couple of threads near this issue on phpBB support forums, such every bit this or this.

When information technology happens I do not recall I do something differently non I feel bug with other web sites. Only every bit suggested in one of the threads linked above, I will endeavor clearing cookies: suddenly having an SID in the URL may indicate something went wrong with them.

I guess I run into the issue more often equally I spend way too much time here.

The submitted grade was invalid. Try submitting over again.

This mistake is beingness repeated many times! Does not piece of work clear cookies, restart browser, change browser.
The Forum wasn't similar this before!
When that happened today, I had to reboot the router included.
At this point when trying to answer a postal service, information technology happened again.
Sometimes information technology just works over again, without even doing anything!
This is looking like a BUG

I noticed yesterday and earlier today that clicking 'Marking topics read' in a subforum seemed to work at the time, only a afterwards refresh marked the aforementioned posts Unread. It'due south resolved now.

It happened to me besides, around noon CEST.

I too have noticed that noon is a common time for these problems, and that they tend to resolve in around an hr. I wonder if it'due south an effect with the timezone and/or Daylight Saving setting, which for me is currently UTC+1.

CEST = UTC + 2. IIRC, it happened couple of minutes before (my) noon. Not sure if I tried after the noon only earlier one pm.

Simply this time it was different that in the OP every bit dissimilar that time, I was getting logged out. Tried clearing the cookies, no change.

maybe this trouble may have something to practise with Login, once again it happened and it may have been considering I logged in from a thread rather than from the forum home page.

Every time I log in, I can't log out! It is at present 5am. Not even switching the IP works.

That sounds similar something to practice with cookies, or with the login system. That doesn't log in correctly, which would justify not being able to log out.

Today I had bug at 0800, which had resolved past 0930; so the daylight-saving idea is probably wrong.

The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

when trying to answer to a topic (or start a new one). I tried a unlike browser, same result.

This is at present happening to me since yesterday when attempting to respond to a topic. The sid value in the address url keeps changing after every click on 'Preview' and 'Submit'; that looks wrong. ...Simply for this topic in that location is no sid in the accost bar and it looks like it's working but fine even at the offset endeavor.

I also had this upshot, after loging in an hour ago after some months (years) since final login (with same system/browser considering it remembered my login settings).

I stock-still it by clearing my browser cookies for forums.wxwidgets.org !

I think this may be a phpBB3 issue with cookies settings.
